State Police Log, July-August 2013: Car Theft, Narcotics Possession

A collection of various Narragansett and South Kingstown-related arrests made by RI State Police. The following information does not indicate a conviction.

Wickford Barracks

  • On July 25 at 10:30 p.m., Troopers arrested Joseph Laboeuf, 27 of 431 High Street, South Kingstown for 1.) Possession of Schedule I-V (Oxycontin) 2.) Possession of Schedule I-V (Adderall) 3.) Driving in Possession of a Controlled Substance. 
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95, in the City of Warwick. Laboeuf was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

Hope Valley Barracks
  • At 9:40 a.m. on August 1, Troopers arrested Brandon Tully, 42, of 4144C Tower Hill Road, South Kingstown for 1.) Larceny Over $1,500 – Auto Theft 2.) Manipulation of Motor Vehicle Controls with Malicious Intent 3.) Reckless Driving / Eluding a Police Officer 4.) Obstruction 5.) Driving on a Suspended License and 6.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of the East Greenwich Police Department on the original charge of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses. 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on St. George Street in the City of West Warwick. Tully was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later arraigned at Third District Court.
