Narragansett Man Charged With Domestic Assault
Marc A. Vallee Sr., 43, of 6 Algonquin Trail, Narragansett, was arrested at about 3:19 p.m. on July 31 and charged with domestic assault.
According to police, the arrest was the result of an incident on July 20 with a 43-year-old Narragansett woman. Details of that incident were unavailable.
Vallee turned himself in to police headquarters on July 31. He was processed and then released at about 3:40 p.m.
South Kingstown Man Charged With Disorderly Conduct
David G. Stoll, 44, of 115 MacArthur Boulevard, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 12:21 p.m. on July 31 and charged with disorderly conduct.
According to police, they received a report of two men fighting at Old Mountain Field, with the men possibly being intoxicated. Police said that when they arrived, Stoll and another man were on the ground talking to one another.
Police noted that both appeared to be heavily intoxicated, and had problems answering simple questions. They told police that they had split a bottle of 750 mL vodka.
One man agreed to leave the area, but police said that Stoll refused to be quiet, and spoke about how he used to be a millionaire. Police said Stoll was arrested after he refused to quiet down or leave.
According to police, Stoll submitted to a breath test at headquarters, which revealed his public alcohol level to be .219. They noted that he had to be put in the department’s padded cell for his own safety.
Police also picked Stoll up on Aug. 2, after he failed to appear at a court hearing. He was arrested without incident on Kingstown Road near School Street.
At the time of his arrest, Robert Edward Hilbern, 54, homeless, was also cited for public consumption of alcohol. Police noted that Hilbern was drinking from a bottle of vodka while they arrested Stoll.
South Kingstown Man Arrested for Warrant
Everett Leroy Hazard Jr., 51, of 35 Meadowbrook Way, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 5:22 p.m. on Aug. 1. Police said the warrant was for a Third Division District Court case related to a charge of driving with an invalid license.
According to police, they accompanied a DCYF investigator to a home on Meadowbrook Way. During the escort, Hazard was found at the residence, and a background check revealed the warrant for his arrest.
Police said Hazard was arrested without incident. He was held overnight for transport to court next day.
