Screwdriver-Wielding Man Robbed SK Convenience Store, Cops Say

The man was identified as Michael Sgambato, 45, of 10 Kingston Ave.

A South Kingstown man was charged with robbing the the One Energy gas station on Tower Hill Road earlier this month.

The Providence Journal identified the man as Michael Sgambato, 45, of 10 Kingston Ave.

Police said on June 7, he walked into the gas station wearing a bandana over his face and wielded a screwdriver. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and hopped into a red, four-door hatchback.
