Police Searching for Robbery Suspect

Police said the man walked into the gas station just before 8 p.m. on Sunday and demanded cash.

South Kingstown Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed the One Energy gas station on Tower Hill Road while wielding a screwdriver.

Police said the man walked into the gas station just before 8 p.m. on Sunday and demanded cash.

He drove off with an undetermined amount of money in a red, four-door hatchback that is described as either a Toyota Matrix or Mazda 3 with Rhode Island license plates.

The man stands about 5 feet 7 inches with a medium build and was wearing blue jeans, a long dark-sleeved shirt with striped sleeves and a bandana covering his face.
