Police: Car Hit Pedestrian Near Charlie O's

Police are looking for the driver.

Narragansett police said a vehicle struck a pedestrian near Charlie O's Tavern over the weekend and took off.

The incident happened Saturday about 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Point Judith Road and Sand Hill Cove Road, police said.

The pedestrian was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the vehicle was a four-door and may have sustained minor damage to the front bumper or passenger side of the vehicle.
