Beer drinkers across the country can't get enough 'Gansett.

Narragansett Brewing Co. was a new addition to the Brewers Association's Top 50 U.S. Brewing Companies list based on 2013 sales. The rankings were released last week.

“In 2013, craft breweries reached new all-time highs in production volume and dollar sales,” said Bart Watson, of the Brewers Association, in a statement. “Beer lovers continue to demand high-quality, fuller-flavored and local beers from small and independent craft breweries.”

Narragansett is enjoying a comeback. It sold 65,000 barrels of beer last year, compared to 1,000 in 2004, according to the Boston Business Journal.

This year, the company has an ace up its sleeve in the form of a new beer shandy with Del’s Lemonade. News of the pairing went viral earlier this year.

How about it if Mr. Middletowner brings back the company to Narragansett at the Roller Rink??? Think of all the attraction you'd get then with the brand. Think about it, RI is highest unemployment rate in the country. Bring the jobs back to Rhody, Mark Hellendrung.

Yeah move the production back to RI, because, as we all know, the best business model is the one that considers how best to maximize costs and minimize returns. The reason RI is the highest unemployment rate in the country is that we are a State that has lost its way. Once a land of free, independent people, we are now the land of corruption and taxation and voluntary slavery. We have abdicated our individual power and rights to the majority and those who rule over us.

This company is moving up. Don't move to RI. It'll suck the life out of your business like a giant leech. They will tax tax tax and not care one bit what happens to the company or employees. At least your employing Americans.
