AG Declines to Move Forward on 3 Cases

Three unrelated local cases are dismissed after the attorney general's office decides not to prosecute.

According to files at Washington County Superior Court and Fourth Division District Court, the attorney general has decided not to proceed forward in three felony cases.

  • On Dec. 11, a felony charge of carrying a weapon while under the influence against Jeffrey M. Jordan, 56, of 55 Juniper Trail, Narragansett, was dismissed. For the original Narragansett police arrest report, click here. A drunken driving charge was remanded to Fourth Division District Court.
  • On Jan. 16, a felony charge of drug possession against Nathan Bonn, 20, of 32 Fernleaf Trail, Narragansett, was dismissed. For the original Narragansett police arrest report, click here.
  • On Jan. 16, two felony drug distribution charges against Kevin Choquette, 27, of 20 Victory St., Wakefield, was dismissed. For the original South Kingstown police arrest report, click here.

Reasons for the dismissals were not included in court records.
