LETTER: 8th Annual Super 5K Looking for Sponsors

To the editor,

The Narragansett Running Association is making preparations for the eighth annual Super 5K road race. 

This 5K is held on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 5 this year) and is used to raise funds for the Narragansett Summer Youth Track Series.  The race will be hosted by Amalfi Catering, at the Village Inn in the Pier area of Narragansett.

We are seeking sponsors for the race.  The business name of sponsors will appear on the back of the 300 t-shirts to be given to the runners on race day and will appear on the race application for the 2013 edition of the Super 5K.

Here’s how you can help:

Business name on T-shirt:  $150

Gift certificates and other donations are also welcome!

Sponsors get a free entry to the race, and they are welcome to view the race from the ballroom of the Village Inn. They will also receive a free pasta meal after the race.
