Obituary: Ezoura Dias Fonseca, 83, Brown University Employee

Ezoura Dias Fonseca of Narragansett died peacefully, surrounded by her family on March 19, 2014. Born in Providence, she was the wife of the late Alvaro P.R. Fonseca of Portugal and daughter of the late Antonio Dias and Cotilda (Cabral) Dias of Providence. Sister of Georgina Perry of Providence and the late Lorraine Julian of Florida. 

She leaves two sons, Douglas Fonseca and his wife Cheryl of Cranston and Alan Fonseca and his wife Michelle of Saunderstown, and six grandchildren, Jillian, Cara, Lia, Alison, Christian and Cameron. Mrs. Fonseca was employed by the Division of Applied Mathematics at Brown University for thirty years until her retirement. She was a member of the Narragansett Senior Community Center and sang with the Narragansett Notables for many years.

Visiting hours are Saturday, March 22 from 8:30 a.m.- 10:00 a.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Rd., Kingston.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Narragansett Senior Center Activities Fund, 53 Mumford Road, Narragansett, RI 02882.
