Barbara J. (Brennan) Beuth, 86

Barbara J. (Brennan) Beuth, 86, of South Kingstown, passed away peacefully in the company of family on Saturday, January 25, 2014. Originally from Litchfield Connecticut, she was married for 52 years to the late Joseph Beuth Jr. She is survived by her brother Richard Brennan and her sister Cynthia Davie. She also leaves behind her four children: Stephen Beuth and his wife Leslie of Wilmington, NC, Joan Van Saun and her husband Mark of Keene, NH, Joe Beuth III and his wife Shirley of Richmond, RI, and Kathleen Mello and her husband Thomas of North Kingstown, as well as eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who will all miss her dearly. 

She was a graduate of St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Hartford, Connecticut and spent her career as a labor and delivery nurse, mainly at Kent Hospital, and while living on Martha’s Vineyard, Block Island, Jamestown, and in Michigan. 

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A), Narragansett. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Rd, Narragansett. 

Donations in her memory may be made to the “Mary D” Fund, P.O. Box 323, Block Island, RI 02802, or to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 for its brief but tender care. 

Burial will be private at a later date.
