Narragansett HS, URI Grad to Appear on Jeopardy! Monday Night

Angela Murock Hussein will compete on Jeopardy! at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, 2013.

South County Jeopardy! fans may see a familiar face during Monday night's broadcast.

Friends and former Narragansett High School classmates of Angela Murock Hussein are boasting about her brain power in the Facebook group "Narragansett High School Class of 94", and reached out to Patch to help spread the word about her small-screen debut.

"Our classmate Angela Murock Hussein is going to be a contestant on Jeopardy! this coming Monday, Sept 16," wrote NHS alumna, Maya O Falck. "Let's all watch and send her winning brain waves. Break a neuron, Angela!!!"

In addition to to attending NHS, Angela majored in anthropology with a minor in classics at the University of Rhode Island. According to the University, she completed her degree in only three years, graduating as a member of the Class of 1997. Today, she is the assistant director of the Bronze Age excavation at Mochlos, Crete.

Angela, who now resides in Pittsburgh, gave a shout-out to her Pennsylvania neighbors prior to her episode airing, which can be seen here, courtesy of WPXI.

Local Jeopardy! fans can tune to WPRI 12 to cheer Angela on as she competes tonight at 7:30 p.m.
