AN OPEN INVITATION TO PEACE DALE
NEIGHBORS AND BUSINESSES
I have owned property and operated a business in the Peace Dale Flats
since 1989. In the early years, I do not recall having such difficulty in
finding parking as I do on a regular basis today. After a long time trying,
I have finally been able to acquire the vacant Lot between Farmer’s and
Rocky Brook at 519 High Street.
It is my intention to open the Lot to Peace Dale businesses for parking.
I hope those owners and employees of our businesses, with little or no
off street parking, will use the opportunity to park in the Lot to open up
street parking, and the Town lot, for our customers, clients and patrons.
Certainly invite your customers, clients and patrons to also use the Lot.
At this time, I am not planning on lighting or plowing the Lot. I will wait
to see if, and how, it is used. If anyone has plowing equipment available
to them, or knows of someone who is willing to contribute to the Peace
Dale business community by plowing the Lot, it certainly would be

*** VEHICLES LEFT OVERNIGHT WILL BE TOWED ***
I hope that all who use the Lot will help police it for litter.
