Help Local Ball Players Make the Hall of Fame

A group of local 12 year-olds have a chance to get into the Hall of Fame, but they need your help.

The South County Riptides — a baseball team made up of 12-year-old boys from Narragansett, South Kingstown and Cranston — has a chance to play in a national tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park in New York, site of the professional baseball Hall of Fame. In additon to competing against teams from all over the country, the local boys will be inducted into the Youth Baseball Hall of Fame.

It's an opportunity of a lifetime for this group of young boys, but they need your help to get there. The group is about half way to its $6,000 goal to send the whole team to Cooperstown in August. To read more or make a donation, click the GoFundMe listing above.
