With fall planting season in full swing, we invite you to join us at Wildwood Nursery for Fall Family Fun on Saturday October 5th from 9am - 4pm. Kids will enjoy pumpkin painting, kids crafts and games. Adults will be treated to helpful gardening demonstrations on topics such as how to deal with garden pests (including those pesky deer!), hydrangeas, and tips for putting the garden to bed for winter. Bring a soil sample and have it tested for free by the URI Master Gardener soil testing team (10am - 2pm only). Learn about home composting from a URI Master Composter, then bring home a sweet treat from Aquidneck Honey. Plus, everyone will enjoy sipping apple cider while strolling through a bounty of mums, pumpkins, gourds and other seasonal decorations. We still have a large selection of trees, shrubs, perennials and fall annuals, ready for planting, so come visit us and enjoy the bounty that fall has to offer.
