The Piping Plovers and You – Come Learn How You Can Volunteer!

The
2014 piping plover season is about to start – and we are looking for
volunteers!  Volunteers are needed to
help protect nesting territories, educate the public on plover biology and
local laws, monitor beaches, and document activity at nesting sites.  This program will consist of a volunteer
training.  Volunteers play a vital role
in helping the FWS fulfill its mission of conserving, protecting and enhancing
America's fish, wildlife and plants and the habitats on which they depend. We
hope you will consider spending time with us to help us help wildlife. If you
are interested in volunteering, please join us!
