Teacher Assistant Training

Join us for a Teacher Assistant Training program from April 30 - June 18, 2014 at the Education Exchange site in Westerly.  This 30 hour Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) approved paraprofessional pre-employment program will be held at the Tower Street Community Center in Westerly on Wednesdays from 9:30AM-12:30PM.  The Teacher Assistant Training program will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed as a teacher assistant, including: information on RIDE standards, school policy and procedures, classroom management skills, field experience, and more!  Past participants have gone on to work in North Kingstown, Exeter West Greenwich, and East Providence, as well as at Bradley School and the Groden Center.
