Southgansett Girl Scouts 50's Sock Hop on Ice!

October 6th: 50’s Sock Hop on Ice, presented by Southgansett Girl Scouts of RI, Sunday, 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Girl Scout troops from Narragansett and South Kingstown will kick off their annual Project Undercover fundraiser at URI’s Boss Ice Arena on Sunday, October 6th. This event is open to the public so bring your family and friends. Come dressed in your poodle skirt and skate to some fun 50’s music! Bring your own skates or rent them at the arena. Admission to the event is FREE to every person who brings a new, unopened package of kids’ socks, underwear, or diapers to the event. All donations directly benefit local South County children in need. Please note: this event is limited to 500 skaters, so come early to claim your spot on the ice! All kids must be accompanied by an adult. Skate rentals are not included.
