Junior Naturalist!

Begin the day by completing a nature-themed scavenger hunt through the Museum
to discover the fantastic insect, bird and plant specimens on display. Then
join Museum Educators for a special nature discovery workshop where you will
explore plants and animals from the Museum collections in a hands on and
creative way!

Begin the day by completing a science-themed scavenger hunt through the Museum
as you discover science in surprising places all around us! Then join Museum
Educators for a special workshop where you will create fizzy, frothy
experiments from everyday household items! Be a scientist for the day and
discover how you might want to be a scientist in the future!
Cost: $5 per
child, $3 per adult.
Pre-registration is required, program size is limited.

Please note: this is not a drop-off
program. Adults must supervise their children throughout the duration of the
program, at least one adult per every 4 children. Siblings (at least 4 years of
age) may participate, but they will be charged the $5 fee. No children under 4
please, as they will not be permitted in the planetarium or workshop areas.
Pre-registrations are non-refundable. In the event of a snow cancellation, your
registration may be applied to a future program.
