Finishing Touches Custom Picture Framing is pleased to present the work of Frances Topping from May 1 thru May 31. Frances is an illustrator, fine artist, educator, and naturalist whose works capture the intricacies and beauty of nature. Her life long interest in nature began in England where she was born and “developed a love of the countryside and nature”. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography with a Botany/Zoology minor as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with Illustration and Photography. She has studied with noted artists and has a Natural Science Illustration Certificate from RISD.
Her works include murals for both private homes and institutions, brochure illustrations, informational panels for nature trail guides, and lovely botanicals and other renderings of the natural world.
Frances is affiliated with several conservation, art, and wildlife organizations including the New England Association of Botanical Artists, the American Society of Botanical Artists, and the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators.
