Birds: Marvels of Science Lecture Series

Human
activities have shaped the earth for thousands of years. This lecture will
explore how and why environments change and the resulting impact on birds. As
one of the most mobile animals on earth, birds are often considered the last to
feel the effects of degraded habitats. Not only is this a common misconception,
but in some cases, birds can be used as indicators of changing habitats long
before other species.
