           More Than Just A Sheet of Paper

North Kingstown, RI – June 19, 2014: The Hive RI’s latest art show, “19 on Paper”, contains 19 works of art on paper created by 19 Rhode Island artists. On Saturday, July 19th, The Hive RI will be holding an open reception from 5:00-7:00 pm, honoring the artists participating in this exhibition. The Hive RI is Southern RI’s only co-working facility, as well a collaborative art gallery.

Founded in 1986, 19 on Paper is an organization that believes in encouraging a variety of approaches to works on paper that energizes and enriches aesthetic expression. Not only are different mediums and techniques pursued, but also a variety of imagery, from realism to non-objective abstraction. The artists of 19 on Paper have exhibited worldwide in galleries and museums with several having been published. Beginning on July 1st to August 29th, 19 on Paper will have varies exhibits to showcase the artists’ works throughout Rhode Island.

Join us Saturday, July 19th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Hive RI, 650 Ten Rod Road in North Kingstown, for some wine, appetizers or dessert, meet and greet the artists, hear their stories and witness the talents of the artists from 19 on Paper.

Based in the historic Lafayette Mill complex in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, The Hive RI coworking space provides inexpensive working space, conference and meeting areas and professional amenities such as copy machines, printers as well as high speed internet.
