Saturday

The South Kingstown Wintertime Farmers Market is open today at 10 a.m. at the Peace Dale Mills, 1425 Kingstown Road, South Kingstown.

College Goal Sunday Rhode Island stops at South Kingstown High School at 2 p.m.  Financial aid professionals will provide hands-on help for college-bound students and their families in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Sunday

on Main Street will host its Monthly Guided Zen Meditation today from 8:30 - 10 a.m. This meditation practice teaches us to clear our minds, understand our true selves, and live our lives with clarity and compassion. The session will begin with a brief introduction and instruction, followed by sitting and walking meditation. No experience necessary.

Support the South Kingstown High School girls' varsity gymnastics team today in their meet at 5 p.m. at the Ocean State School of Gymnastics, 3 New England Way, Lincoln.

Monday

South Kingstown's first cash mob to help support local small businesses takes to the stores this afternoon. Participants should meet at 3 p.m. in the parking lot across the street from , 271 Main St., Wakefield. From there cash mobbers will walk as a group to area businesses and spend some money.

Tuesday

It's a busy day for student athletes. Check in with the Rhode Island Interscholastic League to keep up with high school sports games today.

Wednesday

The South Kingstown High School Parent Teacher Group will meet today 6:30 p.m. at the high school, 215 Columbia St., Wakefield.

The will host the VITA free tax preparation and filing program for people with an income of less than $49,000. All VITA volunteers are trained and certified by the IRS. The program runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3-6:30 p.m. from Jan. 24 to April 12 at its headquarters, 33 North Road, Wakefield.

Thursday

The Broad Rock Middle School Parent Teacher Organization will meet today at 6:30 p.m. at the middle school, 351 Broad Rock Road, South Kingstown.

Friday

Join the and other local business leaders at First Friday Coffee, a networking opportunity at 1632 Kingstown Road, at 8 a.m.

The Rhode Island South County Donor Center will hold a blood drive at , 301 Curtis Corner Road, today at 8:30 a.m.
