How Much Snow Will Narragansett, SK Get?

A second storm is headed to the area and could make driving hazardous on Saturday.

A second storm of the week is headed toward New England and will dump a bit more snow onto the area on Saturday.

The National Weather Service is predicting Narragansett and South Kingstown will get about 1 to 3 inches of snow in the storm that is expected to start around noon Saturday, ending late Saturday night. Other forecasters are predicting as much as 5 inches in the area. Patchy fog is expected to worsen visibility Saturday as temperatures warm slightly in the afternoon, topping out around 39.

The rest of the weekend and early week is looking better — though cooler — in the area. Expect partly sunny skies with temperatures in the low-30s Sunday and Monday, with overnight lows dipping into the low-20s. New Year's Day should warm a bit, with temps topping out around 40 under mostly coudy skies.
