EVENT OF THE DAY: Support for Childbirth

The Doulas of Rhode Island host an informational session tonight at 6:30 in Charlestown.

Every mother needs support during childbirth. A doula provides both support and experience to help ease the stress of childbirth.

Learn about the services DoRI (Doulas of Rhode Island) provides mother-to-be during a reception tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Cross Mills Public Library in Charlestown, 4417 Old Post Road, Charlestown. Doulas are women experienced in childbirth who provide advice, information, emotional support and physical comfort to a mother before, during and just after childbirth. The onformational session is an opportunity for parents-to-be who are considering having a doula at their birth to help make their decision.
