What Price, 'FAME'?

     Andy Warhol, once, said, that, 'In the future, everyone will have their, '15 minutes' of 'fame'.' Well...it seems, that, the future is HERE!! Although, the things, that, some folks feel they need do, in order to acquire, that, 'status', is disappointing, to say the least. Naturally, fame is a very, subjective-thing, and, a 'wide-spread- reputation', earned by 'selling one's soul', is NOT a thing to take pride in, in my, personal-estimation. From people pounding their 'thick-skulls' against hard, watermelons, attempting to break records( HOW is this a thing to aspire toward?) to folks flaunting their nakedness, or, 'TWERKING' to 'TWEET' about, moments later, many, people have, certainly, 'lowered the bar', insofar, as, to what being 'famous', truly, is. Naturally, unless there exists an 'audience' to support, these, Foolish-Fame-Seekers, these, 'wannabes' couldn't achieve their 'position'. I cannot even find it within myself to laugh at these silly-souls; The best I can come up with is pity, quite, honestly. Again...I KNOW I'm older, and, a bit, wiser, to say the least, and, within this 'wisdom' is the awareness, that, we're all on our, own, unique, path, attaining elevation of self, in our, own time, so, I am, truly, TRYING, not to judge. Heck...if I WERE 'judging', there'd be a heck of a lot, fewer, 'famous-folk' this is for sure! Just Sayin'...
