The Worst Part Of Success Is Trying To Find Someone Who Is Happy For You! ― Bette Midler

     Jealousy, is an, unflattering, and, negative- emotion, that, 'little green-monster', which, when one allows, raises it's 'ugly-head', and, causes people to 'see double'; this, a thing my Memere used to say, indicating, that, when folks, act in a manner, feeling resentment against someone, because of a rivalry, they, tend to perceive things as being twice as bad as they, actually, are. Allowing ourselves to feel ranklement or bitterness, or, the feeling of displeasure or indignation, toward another, based on that person's successes or achievements, is not only an unkind-act, toward that party, but, also, speaks poorly of our, own, feelings about ourselves. When we cannot be content within ourselves, or, are, unable to recognize our, own accomplishments, because we are, always, comparing ourselves to others, we will NEVER find inner-peace. Each of us is unique, and, NOT, intended to achieve the same goals, in the same, exact way, as anyone else. It is one, thing, to 'use' the success of another person, as a motivator, to work harder toward a focus of desire; It is, quite, another, thing, to envy the achievements of others, as, this behavior doesn't allow for validation of that, person's attainment, and, in the eyes of the 'narrow-minded' and, envious-person, diminishes the importance of the other, person' accomplishment(s). Envy and jealousy are, 'sins of the soul', capable of 'sapping spiritual strength' from the person who 'falls victim' to these, insidious and negative, behaviors. The thing is, 'the grass ISN'T, always, greener in another person's backyard'; It, only, sometimes, looks that way, when we don't pay enough attention to our own. Just Sayin'...
