The BEST Things IN Life ARE Free!

     Today, I'm off for a wee, 'getaway' with Mom and, one of my sisters, the three of us, joining another Sis, and her wonderful, 'hubby', in beautiful, sunny, Falmouth, Cape Cod. I, just, adore, these, opportunities, to 'escape', the 'real-world', and, 'vacation', away from home, once in awhile. Although, I so, love my life, and, it is anything, but, drudgery, it is still, 'good for the soul' to do something, very, different, on occasion. I feel so blessed to have such, wonderful, family-members, some of whom I consider to be my, very, 'bestest-buds'; and, there's nuthin' wrong with this; leastways, not that I can tell. Growing up in such a large, clan, there was, ALWAYS, a nearby 'friend'; heck, if one party was upset with you, there were still 5 other siblings to 'count upon'! Today, I feel grateful for family, and, for living in such a great, geographical-location, on the East Coast; one, which, within a very, brief-period of travel-time, allows one to enjoy everything from the 'city-life' with all it's culture, to the mountains, for all their, glory, and, skiing, of course, if that's your 'thing, to the wide-open ocean, which skirts the entire coastline, from Maine to Lil' Rhody. I, already, know, that, we will, all, enjoy, a day filled with laughter, good-times, and, good food; and, this, in one of the loveliest-locations, on the Cape. To some, these, may seem like 'simple-pleasures', and, he or she would be right about that...they are. But, for me, it is, INDEED, the 'simple-things' in life, that, ARE the BEST life has to offer; and, I feel blessed, even, further, to recognize this. Have a terrific day, folks; I KNOW, that, I will!
