I've NEVER learned a lesson from an OREO!

     'Human-Rights: Know Them, Demand Them, Defend Them'. This is the message contained within the fortune cookie that topped off my delicious and delightful meal, last evening. It is quite atypical of the type fortunes I usually receive in the sugary, sweet, forecasters for the future; pretty politically-correct, if you ask me. Since when did the manufacturer's of these crisp-cookies, regularly filled with predictions, step into the arena of political propaganda? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate and support said sentiment.; It's simply that it's very, serious, nature is not in style with what is characteristically, contained in these cookies. Kinda thought-provoking...Anyway, I am totally 'on-board' with the nature of the message; I'm happy that I was the recipient of the tenet-touting treat. It tickled my funny-bone a bit, along with offering me a kind and gentle reminder relative to the legal, social, and ethical principles of freedom that we are all entitled to. Who would ever imagine that a baked-treat might manifest such sagacity? I live in accordance with the adage, that 'all people are my teachers', but, a cookie...never saw that coming! Just Sayin...
