CHARLESTOWN'S GEN. STANTON INN FLEA MARKET EXPANDS INTO SUMMER HOURS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

Charlestown's General Stanton Inn Flea Market will be blossoming from it's "Sundays only" hours to its expanded summer hours, opening on Saturdays, Sundays and Holiday Mondays, all from 8 a.m.-3 p.m., beginning May 24 and continuing on through Columbus Day, October 13. Now celebrating its 49th season, The General Stanton Inn Flea Market is one of the oldest, largest and most popular flea markets in the area. Set on seven, tree-shaded acres of the historic Inn (est. 1667), this Flea Market flourishes with rows of vendors selling antiques, collectibles, crafts, art, new merchandise, farmers' market items and for a second season, an indoor oasis, "Matilda's Daughter" boutique. A popular food truck is parked on site to keep both vendors and visitors refreshed with cold and hot drinks and made-to-order breakfast and lunch items. Vendor spaces are available every weekend for rates ranging from $20.-$35 per day. Non-profit organizations are invited to set up sales and/or information booths for free. For reservations/more information, call Janice at 401-364-8888 or 401-364-1818. Free Admission. There is a $2. parking fee charged Sundays only. Early birds encouraged! Location: outdoors at The General Stanton Inn, 4115 Old Post Road, Charlestown, RI 02813
