The magazine ranked the hotel No. 5 in the world.
"This 1868 property is as grand as ever," Travel + Leisure wrote. "Croquet lawns nod to old-world glamour, while 49 light-filled guest rooms and 22 private villas feature modern bathrooms and custom-made furnishings ... Moody skies, long walks on the private beach, and cozy treatments at the hotel spa make for a romantic stay."
Triple Creek Ranch in Montana topped the magazine's list.
The Ocean House Hotel opened in 1869 and had a massive renovation that was completed in 2010.
