Narragansett Stop & Shop Launches Grocery Pick-Up Service

Customers can now purchase their groceries online and pick them up for free from the Stop & Shop in Narragansett's Salt Pond Shopping Center.

The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company in partnership with its sister company Peapod, the country’s leading internet grocer, has launched a new grocery Pick-up service at its 91 Point Judith Road location in Narragansett.

Shoppers can now order their groceries online for easy pick-up and choose a convenient one-hour pick-up time from morning through evening. There are no fees associated with the service, no minimum order and no need to get out of the car – customers can wait as attendants load groceries right into their vehicle.

Pick-up shoppers can also create personal lists, read product information online, sort products by nutrition criteria or price and take advantage of weekly specials. Stop & Shop cardholders can even shop from a list of items they have bought before simply by entering their Stop & Shop card number online. Stop & Shop Gas Rewards and A+ School Rewards points can also be earned by using the pick-up program.
