Thanks to the Internet, many doggy delicacies we are available for order online, however brick and mortar "dog bakeries" are gaining popularity across the country.
Below is a list of the top five dog bakeries in the country, according to The Daily Meal. Venues were chosen and ranked based on creativity, variety of treats, presentation, quality of ingredients, and the curb appeal of their store.

Alexandra Miller, owner of Johnny's Barkin' Bakery said she was "giddy with excitement" when a friend told her that she'd earned a coveted spot on The Daily Meals's list. She named the shop in honor of her best friend's dog Johnny, who was tragically killed in a house fire in 2009, but will always be remembered as an important part of her extended family.
"Most of us see our dogs as far more than a pet. They are our companions, children, best friends and confidants," reads the About Us page at johnnysbarkinbakery.com.
