How often we limit the limitless God with our own perceived limitations? We project on Him our psychological dogma and preoccupation with our own expectations. We imagine Him to be so small and we fail to admit it. I wonder how disappointed He is with the lack of faith in His name. Elohim - Mighty Creator. Maybe we should ask Him to help us to see Him as He truly is: He is the Creator of everything!
Today, and every day, I am thankful for My Creator God. The One who calls himself the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. His Word spoke the universe into existence and by His hand every single thing came into being. His breath brought life. His Spirit still moves. He knits each one together in the womb. In Him we live and move and have our being. I acknowledge Him as the Mighty Creator and praise Him who sits on the throne.
When I look at the natural creation all around me it causes me to stand in awe of Him who created everything. It causes me to praise and worship the One, True, Living God who is the Author of Salvation, Creation and Truth.He is the Giver of Life and the One who takes Life. He is the Final Judge.
I do not worship the created.I worship the Creator. I am thankful for the God who has revealed Himself clearly in scripture as the One who created all.
If I never speak or write another word His name will still be praised forever! Jesus said that if His disciples kept quiet, the stones would cry out! Perhaps, this is why I love the stones so much on my beach walks,they are reminders of Him...literally. His very own Creation will praise Him if those who were created to praise Him shut their mouths to praising Him.
Well, I am not shutting my mouth. Shocked, aren't you?
