Courthouse to Host 'Toe Jam' Winter Variety Show

Tickets for the Feb. 1 performance are available now online or may be purchased at the door on Saturday.

Get the family together this weekend to enjoy a morning of original songs, sing-a-longs, games and dancing with local kid’s favorite, the Toe Jam Puppet Band!

At 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, Courthouse Center for the Arts will welcome families of all ages for an interactive and zany winter-themed variety show and concert with the two-man band.

In their tenth year as Toe Jam Puppet Band, eccentric singer-songwriter Tom Poitras and silly emcee Vinny Lovegrove will entertain their audience with some classic Toe Jam tunes along with several fun seasonal selections. Poitras is known to play a mean acoustic guitar and banjo while singing original songs like the duo's popular hits, "I Need a Car Wash", "Green Light A Go-Go" and "Don't Scare the Aliens".

Kids and parents alike will have the chance to get on their feet to sing, dance and act out the songs with the band who always come prepared with a seemingly endless supply of props and wigs, as well as the occasional bubble machine.

Tickets are $12 at the door or may be purchased in advance by clicking here. Courthouse Center for the Arts is located at 3481 Kingstown Road, Kingston.
