Say It Ain't Snow

Another week, another snowstorm.

Mother Nature isn’t done with us yet.

The National Weather Service is predicting 2 to 4 inches of snow for Narragansett and South Kingstown on Tuesday.

The snow should start between 9 a.m. and noon, then ending some time between 4 and 7 p.m. Some of the heavy snow may fall during the evening commute.

The snowstorm is just the latest expected to hit the area after a very active two weeks of snow.

So far this winter season, 37.7 inches of snow has dropped on Providence – and that's not including another month or so of potential storms left this winter. On average, Providence sees about 24 inches of snow each winter.

Don’t forget that the April Fools' Day storm of 1997 brought 25.4 inches of snow to Boston, which shows that sometimes we have to wait until after Opening Day to stop worrying about snow.
