The sky was ablaze in red, yellow and orange last night as the sun set over Rhode Island, signaling an end to the rain showers that soaked the region with about a half inch over the weekend.
The cool temperatures will continue through the week with a high of 61 tomorrow being the warmest day of the week until Friday, when temperatures will reach 64. Otherwise, expect highs in the low 50s and upper 40s through Thursday with plenty of rain in the forecast, according to the National Weather Service.
