Citizens Bank Donates $2,000 to Narrow River Preservation Association

Citizens Bank recently announced a $2,000 sponsorship of the 24th Annual Narrow River Road Race, which is scheduled for May 21. This 10k run, and 5k run/walk, brings the Rhode Island community together to raise awareness regarding the natural habitat within the Pettaquamscutt Watershed.

The Narrow River Preservation Association’s mission is to preserve the quality of the communities and natural environment by working with environmental groups, and local state and federal agencies, to monitor problems and developments within the watershed. Through education and outreach programs, NRPA helps keep the community aware of all issues that affect them and the surrounding river habitat.
