We are actively seeking players for our 2014 Season! Opening Day is two months away and we're looking for more girls to join in the fun. No experience necessary!
The South Kingstown Girls' Slow Pitch Softball League is made up of three divisions: Instructional Program (ages 7 and 8), Junior League (ages 9-12), and Senior League (age 13 through high school senior). All games are played at Old Mountain Field in Wakefield.
Our League is dedicated to teaching the basic skills of softball in a fun, recreational program. We encourage our coaches to focus on giving girls an opportunity to play rather than winning games. Practices start in mid-April and games run from early-May through the end of July. Players who are new to the League, moving up from Instructional, or returning after an absence will need to attend Skills Assessment in late March to help us ensure team balance when assigning new players to teams.
