Students from South Kingstown High School competed in the Berklee High School Jazz Festival hosted by Berklee College of Music in Boston. South Kingstown High School competed against over 200 bands featuring nearly 3000 students from 13 states across the country. South Kingstown’s own William Grear was awarded for his superior musicianship. The South Kingstown High School ensemble competed this year. The largest event of its kind, the Berklee High School Jazz Festival is in its 46th year.
