new Acting class in South County

                           C.O.R.E. A.C.T.I.N.G. starts in August in South County Acting class for all levels, ages 15 and up. Perfect class for new Actors and experienced Actors looking for a fresh start and raw challenge. C.O.R.E. A.C.T.I.N.G. is an engagement of the senses. Workshop leader Mike Messier has worked with Meryl Streep and Elisabeth Shue (in Hope Springs) and Wesley Snipes, Mario Van Peebles and Cybill Shepherd (in Hard Luck). Messier has also won six awards in film and television including a regional Associated Press Award and a regional Emmy nomination. C.O.R.E. A.C.T.I.N.G. students have gone on to be accepted at the Stella Adler Acting Conservatory in New York and to star in independent films. C.O.R.E. student and Actress Jami Tennille says "C.O.R.E. Acting taught by Mike is a class I would recommend to all actors at any level. His classes helped give me self-confidence to pursue a career as an Actor. They also prepared me with techniques I use for auditioning, scene study and character development. Mike is an attentive, insightful and dedicated coach." Class fee is $100 for the four classes in August (August 6, 13, 20 and 27).To register, send a check to Mike Messier/ 47 Lenox Court / North Kingstown, RI 02852 . Classes are from 6:30 to 9pm, on Tuesday nights.
