    URI Slow Food Market: From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today and every Tuesday in October, Slow Food URI will hold its Local Food Market on the Quad. The market offers something for everyone, featuring grub from Tallulah's Tacos, Bravo Wood-fired Pizza, Great Harvest and The Coffee Guy. Slow Food URI is an organization striving to create a food system with roots in nutrition, environmental stability and social justice. Click here to learn more about them!

    Community Flu Clinic: From 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., today, Oct. 22, South County Hospital will host a flu vaccination clinic at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish, located at 53 Rockland Street in Narragansett. Vaccinations will be available to individuals age 19 and older.     SK Farmers' Market: Skip the grocery store tonight and pick up some fresh fruits, veggies and baked goods at South Kingstown's outdoor Farmers' Market at Marina Park! From 2-6 p.m. each Tuesday through October, the Park will host the community market that also offers plants, handmade handbags and more. Click here for more information and to view a list of featured vendors.

    West Kingston Village Study: Tonight from 7-9 p.m., the South Kingstown Planning Board will hold Community Workshop to work on village studies for West Kingston at West Kingston Elementary School (3119 Ministerial Rd.).     Public Education Forum: At 7 p.m. tonight and each Tuesday evening through Dec. 10, the University of Rhode Island Fall 2013 Honors Colloquium will offer public education forums in Edwards Auditorium on the Kingston Campus. In this series, coordinated by David Byrd and Diane Kern, participants will explore how education still matters and debate key issues central to understanding the future of public schools and higher education.
