    Free Movie - Stories We Tell: Today from 2-3:45 p.m. and again from 6-7:45 p.m, the Maury Loontjens Memorial Library (35 Kingstown Rd., Narragansett) will host a free showing of the 2013 film, "Stories We Tell" (NR)In this inspired, genre-twisting film, Oscar-nominated writer/director Sarah Polley discovers that the truth depends on who's telling it. Polley is both filmmaker and detective as she investigates the secrets behind a family of storytellers. She playfully interviews and interrogates a cast of characters of varying reliability, eliciting refreshingly candid, yet mostly contradictory, answers to the same questions. A discussion will follow the viewing.

    Public Education Forum: At 7 p.m. tonight and each Tuesday evening through Dec. 10, the University of Rhode Island Fall 2013 Honors Colloquium will offer public education forums in Edwards Auditorium on the Kingston Campus. In this series, coordinated by David Byrd and Diane Kern, participants will explore how education still matters and debate key issues central to understanding the future of public schools and higher education. Click here for details about this week's forum.
