Free Cancer Screening: I know this isn't the most fun thing to plan ahead for, but it sure is important! On Saturday, Sept. 14 from 9-11:30 a.m., South County Hospital (100 Kenyon Ave., Wakefield) is hosting a Free Prostate Cancer Screening. Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death for American men. This disease generally has no early symptoms, so annual screening is vitally important. Detected early, prostate cancer is highly treatable. Screening saves lives! Click here to register for your screening or call (401) 788-1647. Walk-ins are also welcome.
