Narragansett Library to Host Evening Book Club Tonight (and 4 More Things)

    Evening Book Club: Tonight from 6:30-8 p.m., the Narragansett Public Library, located at 35 Kingstown Road, will host its Evening Book Club. This month's discussion will be based on the book, Theophilus North by Thorton Wilder. Copies are available at the Circulation Desk.

    Walk-A-While Wednesday: From 12-1 p.m. today and each Wednesday through Dec. 4, URI's College of Human Science and Services in partnership with the Dept. of Kinesiology will host "Walk-a-While on Wednesdays". The new health initiative is led by Kinesiology walking coaches who guide participants through various mapped paths each session.

    Fall-Winter Sponsorship Opportunities: Fall is in full swing, which means winter is just around the corner.     Free Thanksgiving Dinners: Continuing their tradition of serving the community, members of the South Kingstown Elks Lodge No. 1899 will once again serve free Thanksgiving mealsto anyone interested in joining them, regardless of financial situation or other factors. The dinner will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at the Elks Lodge (60 Belmont Ave., Wakefield). Guests are asked to RSVP at 783-7819 so the Lodge can estimate a head count. Click here to learn more about this generous holiday event!
