First Friday Coffee: Join members of the South County Chamber of Commerce this morning at 8 a.m. for First Friday Coffee hosted by The Fayerweather Craft Guild (1859 Mooresfield Rd., Kingston). The Guild is dedicated to preserving old crafts and promoting new ones. They are open for their 46th season of craft demonstration and hands-on workshops. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards for networking!

Star Gazing at Frosty Drew Observatory: Fridays at 6 p.m. during fall and winter and shortly after dusk during spring and summer head to the Frosty Drew Observatory in Ninigret Park in Charlestown. See the stars, our moon, the planets and their moons, distant galaxies, and maybe a passing comet, through a big telescope. Weather permitting. Admission is free; donations are appreciated.

Micetro Improv! Head to The Contemporary Theater (327 Main St., Wakefield) tonight, Sept. 6 at 9:30 p.m. for the season's final Micetro Improv! A troupe of improvisation masters will compete head-to-head in making up scenes and songs to win your vote as Micetro champion. Click here for more information.
