Meet & Greet with Narragansett Town Manager Tonight (and 4 More Things)

    Meet the Town Manager: This evening from 6-8 p.m., the Narragansett Town Council invites the public to attend a meet-and-greet for the new Town Manager Pamela Nolan. The event will take place at the North Beach Clubhouse at 79 Boston Neck Road in Narragansett and will serve as an informal setting to meet Pamela, exchange ideas and share interests. No RSVP needed.

    Town of Narragansett Reminder: Residents should be reminded that Narragansett utility bills are due no later than Monday, Oct. 7, 2013.

    Ballroom Dance Lessons: Tonight and each Wednesday evening year-round, The Towers in Narragansett offers ballroom dance lessons led by instructors Sara Barker and Sue Davis. Ballroom lessons are held at 6 and 7 p.m., Tango at 8 p.m., followed by an open practice for all from 9-10:30 p.m. Cost is $15 per person for Ballroom or Tango, or $22 per person for a full evening. Click here for more information.

    Card Crafts at Maury Loontjens: Tonight from 6:30-7:30 p.m., the Maury Loontjens Memorial Library (Narragansett Library) will host a free Card Craft session. Design a special greeting card to show someone you care! Paper card crafting supplies and instruction will be provided. Pre-registration is required. Call 789-9507 to register.

    Plan Ahead - Gansett Firefighters' Ball: From 7 p.m. until midnight on Saturday, Oct. 5, the Narragansett Fire Department will host its annual Firefighers' Ball at The Dunes Club (137 Boston Neck Rd., Narragansett). Live music will be provided by "Wayz & Means". $35 per couple, $20 per person. Tickets will be available at the door or can be reserved at any of the Department's three stations with cash or check.
