Matunuck Village Community Workshop Tonight (and 4 More Things)

    Village of Matunuck Community Workshop: Tonight at 7 p.m., the South Kingstown Planning Department will hold a second community workshop as part of its study of the Village of Matunuck. The workshop will be held in the Matunuck Elementary School cafeteria (380 Matunuck Beach Rd., South Kingstown), and will provide residents, business owners and public officials to discuss key issues related to the village in detail.     Library Free Movie: Today from 2-4 p.m. and again from 6-8 p.m., the Narragansett Library (35 Kingstown Rd.) will host a free showing of the 2013 film, "Mud", (PG-13), which tells the story of two boys, Ellis and his best friend Neckbone, who find a mysterious man named Mud hiding out on a deserted island in the Mississippi. Mud tells the boys fantastic stories about his life, including how he killed a man in Texas and vengeful bounty hunters are coming to get him. He says he is planning to meet and escape with the love of his life, Juniper. The boys agree to help him, but it isn't long until their small town is besieged by bounty hunters out for blood. (Starring Matthew McConaughey, Tye Sheridan and Reese Witherspoon)

    SK Farmers' Market: Skip the grocery store tonight and pick up some fresh fruits, veggies and baked goods at South Kingstown's outdoor Farmers' Market at Marina Park!
