    Free Movie at Maury Loontjens: Today from 2 to 3:30 p.m. and again from 6 to 7:30 p.m., the Maury Loontjens (Narragansett Public) Library (25 Kingstown Road) will host a free showing of the 2013 film, "Blue Jasmine" (PG-13). The movie tells the story of elegant New York socialite Jasmine, who moves into her sister Ginger's humble apartment in San Francisco to try to pull herself back together after everything in her life falls to pieces, including her marriage to wealthy businessman Hal. (Starring: Cate Blanchett, Alec Baldwin, Peter Sarsgaard)

    Bereaved Parents USA - RI Chapter: Tonight at 7 p.m., the Rhode Island Chapter of Bereaved Parents USA will hold its monthly meeting at Kingston Congregational Church (2610 Kingstown Rd., Kingston). The free statewide support group is for parents who have lost a young or adult child at any age from any cause, and who want to share with others who have had a similar devastating experience.     NEMA Wants You! The Narragansett Emergency Management Agency is currently recruiting community members interested in volunteering to help during emergencies including natural disasters, biological threats and other community hazards.     Plan Ahead - Great Tastes of Gansett: Tickets are on sale now for the Narragansett Chamber of Commerce's Great Tastes of Narragansett Party to kick-off Restaurant Week (Feb. 28 - Mar. 9)! The even will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at The Towers, 35 Ocean Road, Narragansett. VIP tickets are $30 per person, General Admission, $20. Click here to order tickets or stop by the Chamber of Commerce (36 Ocean Road, the lower portion of The Towers).
