Free Movie at Maury Loontjens: Today from 2 to 3:30 p.m. and again from 6 to 7:30 p.m., the Maury Loontjens (Narragansett Public) Library (25 Kingstown Road) will host a free showing of the 2013 film, "Blue Jasmine" (PG-13). The movie tells the story of elegant New York socialite Jasmine, who moves into her sister Ginger's humble apartment in San Francisco to try to pull herself back together after everything in her life falls to pieces, including her marriage to wealthy businessman Hal. (Starring: Cate Blanchett, Alec Baldwin, Peter Sarsgaard)

Bereaved Parents USA - RI Chapter: Tonight at 7 p.m., the Rhode Island Chapter of Bereaved Parents USA will hold its monthly meeting at Kingston Congregational Church (2610 Kingstown Rd., Kingston). The free statewide support group is for parents who have lost a young or adult child at any age from any cause, and who want to share with others who have had a similar devastating experience. Plan Ahead - Great Tastes of Gansett: Tickets are on sale now for the Narragansett Chamber of Commerce's Great Tastes of Narragansett Party to kick-off Restaurant Week (Feb. 28 - Mar. 9)! The even will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at The Towers, 35 Ocean Road, Narragansett.
