Free Forensic Crime Scene Processing Seminar Tonight (and 4 More Things)

    Forensic Science Seminar: From 3:30-5 p.m. tonight, the URI Crime Laboratory group will host a free Forensic Science Partnership Seminar in Room 124 of Pastore Hall (51 Lower College Rd., Kingston). Tonight's seminar entitled “Crime Scene Processing", is open to the public and will feature retired Massachusetts State Police trooper Kenneth Martin.

    Men's Over-35 Drop in B-Ball: Looking to have some fun and let loose some stress? Join your peers for recreational fun and good basketball supervised by Glenn Miller, tonight and each Friday through Mar. 14 from 7-9 p.m. at Peace Dale Elementary School (109 Kersey Rd, Peace Dale)  All ability levels are welcome and everyone plays.Note: Program does not meet when school is not in session. $2 per session. Click here for more Town activities and programs.

    Star Gazing at Frosty Drew Observatory: This evening and every Friday night at 6 p.m., get star struck at the Frosty Drew Observatory's Public Stargazing Night (61 Park Ln., Charlestown). Be sure to subscribe to the Frost Drew Observatory mailing list or follow them on Twitter (@FrostyDrewOBSY) to receive status updates about the public stargazing program. This is a free event, however donations are greatly appreciated. 

    Letters to Santa: Don't miss the chance to drop Santa a line before Christmas! Letters must be mailed to: Santa Claus, Recreation Department, 170 Clarke Road, Narragansett, RI 02882 by Friday, Dec. 6!
