Food Trucks, Movie at Marina Park (and 4 More Things)

    Food and a Movie: Enjoy a la truck dining and a flick at Marina Park this evening! From 6-9 p.m. a sampling of food trucks from the area will congregate at the Park, located at 239 Salt Pond Road in Wakefield. Vendors include Pizza By Fire, Eddie’s BBQ, Go-Spresso, Buddy's Hot Dogs and Clam Jammers. At 8:30 p.m., sit back and relax with a showing of the 2012 family comedy, "Thunderstruck", starring NBA star Kevin Durant. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy an evening of outdoor entertainment!

    It's Fair Time! The 47th Annual Washington County Fair, the largest agricultural event in Rhode Island, began Wednesday and runs through Sunday at its Rte. 112 fairgrounds location in Richmond.     Star Gazing at Frosty Drew: Fridays at 6 p.m., head to the Frosty Drew Observatory in Ninigret Park in Charlestown. See the stars, our moon, the planets and their moons, distant galaxies, and maybe a passing comet, through a big telescope.     Summer Concert at the Gazebo: Head down to Narragansett on Friday night for an evening of music in the gazebo with the Abbey Road, who will entertain with covers of classic tunes from The Beatles! This free event, sponsored by SoHo Restaurante, will begin at 6 p.m. at Casino Park.
